This image was created using Photopea (a platform for photoediting). Through the usage of combining multiple images along with a phrase, it intended to inform an insight on what FAP is while trying to persuade those, seemingly healthy, to properly get advised screening done. Oftentimes, because FAP is asymptomatic, patients tend to not get any screening done before it is too late, resulting in late stage colon cancer.
The phrase, "FAP: By the time you see it, it's too late," draws attention to the disorder itself. By using the words, "it's too late," it would emphasize that it is better to be sure even if it feels like there is nothing wrong.
The picture of a woman smiling in the background seems completely healthy on the outside; however, looking closely, rather than the outside, the location where the problem lies is inside. She may seem perfectly normal and healthy, but with FAP it is not the symptoms that indicate the health issues, but the endlessly growing polyps inside the colon that leads to colon cancer. Hence, the woman receiving chemotherapy was layered with a slight darker shade to present the eerie vibe of the consequence of not getting screened.
